Do I have to write anything?
No. Photograph your display case or upload your menu and Trainseed drafts the lessons and questions from your real items, prices, ingredients and allergens. You fix anything it got wrong and approve it. That takes about ten minutes, once.
Does my team need to install an app?
No. The drill runs in any phone browser and works offline once it has loaded. iOS and Android apps are coming, but nobody has to wait for them.
How long does a drill take?
Up to six questions, under two minutes, one-handed. It is built to be done standing up before a shift, not sitting down after one.
What does joining the waitlist mean?
We are opening to cafes and restaurants in small batches. You get an invite with a 14-day free trial, not a newsletter. If you run a different kind of business, pick it in the form and we will tell you when your industry opens.
How is this different from a course builder like Trainual?
Course builders give you an empty container and a good editor. You still write the training, and when the menu changes you rewrite it. Trainseed starts from your menu and rebuilds the drill when the menu changes. See the comparison page for a fair side-by-side.
Is AI involved?
Yes, that is how the draft gets written and how roleplay answers get scored. Every question comes from something you actually serve, and you approve it before anyone sees it. We never use your content to train models.
What happens to allergen questions?
They are marked required, they never count toward streaks or points, and they are reported separately to owners. A wrong allergen answer always creates a weak spot that comes back until it is right three times in a row.
What happens when my menu changes?
Re-upload it. This week's drill picks up the new items, prices and anything that is gone. Nobody's streak or history is touched.
Where is my data stored?
In Canada, with row-level security per business. Card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers. See the privacy policy for the full list of providers.
What counts as a location?
One physical site with its own team and its own menu. If you run two shops with the same menu, that is two locations. We keep it simple on purpose.
Do I need a card to start the trial?
No. The 14-day trial starts when you accept your invite. You add a card when you decide to keep going.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your team can keep drilling for another seven days while you decide. Owner tools pause until you pick a plan. Nothing gets deleted.
